On the morning of Saturday November 7th, Ryan was attacked in a convenience store parking lot, in Morgantown West Virginia. He was left unconscious with severe head trauma. Since then, he has remained unconscious in critical condition. With his family by his side, and the thoughts and prayers of thousands in the WVU community, his home town of Ashburn, Virginia, and the friends and families of those that know him across the country, Ryan continues his fight to a full recovery. You can view the police report here. West Virginia University issued a press release on Thursday November 12th. On Tuesday November 24th, Ryan was transported to the Shepherd Center in Atlanta, Georgia. While still in a coma, Ryan and his family continue to celebrate small miracles everyday.
